Shanghai exhibition envisions future world

A new exhibition in Shanghai is giving visitors a glimpse into what life could be like in the remote future.

The exhibition in a local shopping zone is at the worlds largest futurist show venue. The building itself is highly creative and visionary. Theres a striking abstract sculpture of profound symbolic significance at the entrance.

The interior is divided into two sections: the world in 2050 and the world in the year 2500. With the aid of state of the art electronic technology, an unimaginable spectacle impresses visitors.

The shows designer says the exhibition aims to arouse the creative passion of local people. He hopes visitors will be inspired to enrich their lives here and now.

Anticipating the Shanghai World Expo in 2010, the show will stay open until after the global gala.
